Hi Ommar! Welcome! I really appreciate your post. It's uplifting to read your feedback. But, most importantly, it's inspiring to hear about your own story. Having studied SCI and rehabilitation, I have tremendous respect for exercise science's role in therapy.

A masters in Physiology is spectacular! Honestly, physiology was one of my favorite courses - and I am envious.

Question: by December, do you have a wish list of questions or "how-tos" you would like to see covered?

Hi everyone. My name is Ommar and I'll be studying for the MCAT starting in December and will be taking it and applying in the spring. I am finishing up my masters in physiology and completed my undergraduate degree in exercise and sport science. I stumbled upon this website and read through Mike's story and his various other anecdotes/metaphors and I saw it as inspirational for any student who is struggling to find a starting point in their MCAT studying. I believe many students just do not know where to begin due to the myriad of information and studying tools available. This combined with the massive importance of the MCAT in their medical school application leads many students to feel extremely stressed and burnt out. I was one of those students. During my undergraduate career, I began studying for the MCAT but I just didn't feel ready and I couldn't balance school, work, research, and MCAT studying all at the same time. I decided to postpone MCAT studying and my application to medical school until after I completed my masters. I now feel much more prepared for the MCAT and medical school and I'm actually excited to begin studying for it!

btw I heard you're offering the free ebook to the first 50 people who post on this form :)

I am OBSESSED with the human brain! Nerdy question, but do you have a favorite part of the brain? Mine is the frontal cortex.

CARS appears to be on top of most hit lists. I am into court room dramas and language, so my interests helped me massively.

I would love to gauge what about CARS frustrates you so much - because I want to create more relatable content in this section.

I personally love creative writing. While many people say to read - I actually think writing might also be beneficial. That's why I have an article on applying the Elements of Style to CARS. Empathetically, we can put ourselves in the shoes of the author once we command the English language (not that I'm a master).

Hey Mike, impressive story! Massive respect. I'm currently an undergraduate student fascinated with the brain, and I'd really like to become a neurologist or psychiatrist, although I'm well aware that most students change specialties. The hardest section for me on the MCAT is CARS.
